Lynx

The famous browser from Lou Montulli, Michael Grobe, and Charles Rezac, all of the University of Kansas. Lynx was initially developed as an independent "Campus Wide Information System"; WWW capabilities were added later.

Lynx now has the distinction of being the oldest continuously-maintained web browser.
